You can't have enough sweaters. But you'll need at least two basics: the rollneck and the classic sweater. With these versatile pieces you can create various looks that’ll have you dressed for the most formal occasions to a casual Sunday brunch. Here’s how to do it.

Casual
The easiest look is just you and your sweater. It’s probably smart to wear a shirt underneath, but the best look if that one’s invisible. If you like your classic look to be a bit edgier, you can choose to leave your shirt out. We prefer a black-on-black (or grey-on-grey) if you choose to show some undershirt.

Classic
If you want to step it up a bit, layer your sweater with a shirt. Make sure your collar is tucked in under the neck of your sweater. You can choose to leave it out, but only with a V-neck. If you’re wearing the shirt with a tie, always tuck your collar in. You can’t go wrong with a white shirt, but if you’re more of the adventurous kind, don’t go crazy with colours or patterns. Formal
